Plant protection and pest control products need to be used legally, safely and competently. City and Guilds NPTC qualifications provide assessment of both underpinning knowledge and practical skills.

Our livestock qualifications have a strong emphasis on animal welfare and incorporate the 'Five Freedoms' as defined by the Farm Animal Welfare Council where appropriate. We offer a range of qualifications covering legislative and non-legislative requirements.

Candidates who operate around utility services as part of their work in arboriculture and forestry require industry recognised qualifications. Our UA suite provides an individual with knowledge and understanding of the sector.

The forestry and arboriculture industries recognise that good health and safety practice is vital for operators and business. Gaining industry recognised qualifications ensures that operators have reached agreed standards of competence.  

Understanding machinery maintenance and safe operational skills are key to efficient use, good working practices and preventing accidents. We offer assessments in a wide range of land based machinery.

Candidates who are qualified chainsaw operators under Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) are required to have refresher training every 3-5 years. Our CPD suite of qualifications can cater for these requirements.
